* Greendrinks: CIEE + Nomads

On Tuesday, January 13, the first Greendrinks event of 2009 kicks off with a great turn-out of people at the offices of CIEE on Fore Street in Portland, ME and is co-sponsored by Nomads, the niche clothing boutique for adventure-seekers located on Commercial Street. Greendrinkers get to know each other playing a travel and environmentally-related game of Bingo and watch a slideshow illustrating the ecological and environmental programs offered at CIEE. While munching on some organic Grandy Oats, people enjoyed beer courtesy of Peak Organic Brewing and Sebago Brewing Company -- all local Maine businesses.

Portland Greendrinks held at the Maine Rock Gym on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 and sponsored by WCYY radio station, New England Sustainability Exchange, Peak Organic Brewing, Sebago Brewing, and Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill.

* Greendrinks: Salt + Switch

More than two hundred people attended the Portland Greendrinks event held at the new Congress Street location of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies on Tuesday evening, October 14, 2008. MaineToday.com, which recently merged with the publication Switch, announced the launch of its new website. Among the many other local sponsors were Peak Organic Brewing, Green Elephant Restaurant, and Hansel's Orchard. Salt also announced the launch of its revamped website that now includes information on their digital photography track, transitioning from their previous film and wet darkroom curriculum.
