Paper hearts on the window of Gritty's Pub in the Old Port of downtown Portland, Maine. The hearts are taped up around town every year by a mysterious, unknown Valentine -- does anyone know or is it just me in the dark?! Regardless, they always put a smile on my face. Today isn't just a day to acknowledge loving your partner, but rather loving and appreciating all of those important relationships in your life, friends, family, and four-legged pals. Love you all!

* emilie inc.: Engagement session of Xu + Peggy in the Old Port and Two Lights State Park
Xu and Peggy have visited Maine only one other time aside from their
engagement shoot that I was honored to photograph. Both times Xu has
locked the keys in the car! However, this did not stop these two cuties
from fully enjoying their session in the Old Port and at Two Lights
State Park.
Please visit the emilie inc. blog to read more about their engagement session.

* Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
I hope everyone enjoys their holiday celebrations and rings in the new year with a bang. Take the time to look back on this last year of your life. Think about all that you've achieved and what you've learned. Be grateful and thankful, love your family and friends. You're happy, healthy, and alive. Breathe and smile. Just think how amazing this next year 2012 will be.... !

* Greendrinks: O'Naturals + Planned Parenthood
April Greendrinks at O'Naturals green eatery on Exchange Street in Portland, Maine's Old Port. Another great turnout of locals with drinking vessels in hand filled with Peak Organic Brew, Sebago Brew, or Cold River Vodka. Planned Parenthood provided the condoms and Good Chemistry, while Cycle Mania provided a tandem bike and other eco-friendly wheels to take for a spin. Spring is in the air.
