What do you get when you mix together a Vera Wang dress, a Bentley, Superheros, and a surprise choreographed first dance?  Lauren and Alex's wedding, of course!  These two had a fun wedding and was evident they enjoyed every moment.

* emilie inc.: Wedding of Jenney + Steven at the John Peters Estate in Blue Hill

I have never seen so much dancing as I did at the beautiful wedding of Jenney and Steven in Blue Hill.  I mean, epic marathon dancing.  It was solid rug-cutting to New York City husband-wife DJ's Tom and Abby of Play Something Good that killed it on the turn-tables, mixing unpredictable tunes together -- my favorite being Paul Simon's "Cecilia" and Moby's "Honey" -- plus playing old school hip hop and, of course, Journey.

* emilie inc.: Wedding of Maggie + Aaron at the Pot and Kettle in Bar Harbor on MDI

Maggie and Aaron had a sweet, simple, down-to-earth wedding celebration at the Pot and Kettle in Bar Harbor.  Albeit a tad long, I love the drive up to Mt. Desert Island and found myself saying, "I could totally live up here."  An island, Acadia National Park, ocean, New England -- I love it.  Aaron had all of this as his backyard, growing up there, and now it's his playground, where he works as a lobsterman.  Maggie is a teacher in Boston and the two will eventually be moving down there, but I'm certain they will always call MDI home.
